OK Confirms the selection.
Backup
<< >> Used to select the name of the project to back up.
OK Starts the backup process. Asks Are you sure?
OK Makes the backup copy.
Cancel Sorry, dont have time for this now.
Cancel Dont bother. Returns to the top of the Backup
menu.
DISK UTIL
Menu Selection Submenus What It Does
Set Selects the active disk drive
<< >> Selects Internal or External drive for file operations
such as New and Open Project and formatting.
OK Confirms the selection
Mount No options - refreshes the disk drive selection
Format Formats the selected drive. (Select using the SET command
Wipes out everything on the currently active drive. Are You
Sure?????!!!!!!
OK Yes, Im sure. Do it.
Format Complete Verify Drive Speed? [yes/no]
Cancel Dont. I like whats on the drive.
Verify Runs a performance test to determine if the drive is suitable for
recording (Real Time), backup (Back Uup), or unsuitable (Boo
hoo) for use with the HDR24/96. Usually used to check an
aftermarket drive. This is a non-destructive test and can be
performed on a drive which contains projects.
OK Tests the drive and reports on its performance. At
the conclusion of the test, Continue returns to the
top level Disk Utility menu.
Cancel Does not run the performance test, returns to the
top level Disk Utility menu.
