Problem Troubleshooting Suggestions
Power is on, but the Status LED
does not light.
Press the LED check button on the
Controller Module to verify that the
LED is not burned out. All the LEDs
should light.
Verify that the EMM is installed
correctly by following the installation
instructions in Chapter 2.
Try the EMM in another slot in the
concentrator.
Press the reset button on the EMM.
If the LED still does not light, the
software on the Flash EPROM may be
corrupted, Try downloading a new
copy of the software as described in
Chapter 5.
If downloading software does not
solve the problem, call your supplier
for assistance.
The Status LED is blinking,
failing diagnostics.
Try the suggestions for the previous
problem.
