VIEWING PROGRAMS IN OTHER LANGUAGES
You can change the language of the programs you view by using the
Alternate Audio menu.
To change to an alternate language, do the following:
Note: An alternate language may not be available for all programs. Some programs, such
as movies, indicate at the start of the program whether an alternate language is available.
Also, the alternate language applies only to the audio portion of programs and does not
change the menus displayed by the recorder.
1. Press the Mode button until the remote is in
SAT mode.
2. Press the
Menu button to open the Main Menu.
3. Select the
System Setup option.
4. Select the
Preferences option.
5. Select the
Alternate Audio option.
6. Press the
Left arrow button to move the
highlight to the list of languages.
7. Use the
Up or Down arrow button to
highlight the desired language and
press
Select.
Note: If the program is being transmitted
in a language not listed, then the
Alternate
option selects that language.
If not, then the
Alternate option selects
English.
