8 TROUBLESHOOTING
(1) Error code list
The following table lists the error codes, error messages, error causes, and
corrective actions.

• Take noise reduction measures.
• Reset the remote I/O module.
If the same error code is displayed again,
the cause is a hardware failure of the
remote I/O module. (Please consult your
local Mitsubishi representative.)

[MAIN CPU DOWN]
Runaway or failure of the remote I/O module

• The voltage waveform that is outside the specification
is applied to the power supply module, and an error
is detected.
• A failure was detected on the power supply module,
remote I/O module, main base unit, or extension
cable.
• When using the redundant base unit, the redundant
power supply module failure in both systems is
detected.

Diagnostic Timing

• Correct the voltage waveform applied to the
power supply module.
• Reset the remote I/O module.
If the same error code is displayed again,
the cause is a hardware failure of the

[RAM ERROR]
The work area RAM in the remote I/O module is faulty.

There is an output module with a blown fuse.

No./Station No.
• Individual Information (SD16 to SD26): -
Diagnostic Timing
• Always
Check the FUSE. LED of the output modules
and replace the module whose LED is on. (A
blown fuse can be identified using GX
Works2 or GX Developer. Check the special
register, SD1300 to SD1331, to see if the bit
corresponding to the module with a blown
fuse is set to "1".)
