GPI CONFIG MODE Setting determines whether the GPI I/O PIN is a fixed function or can be set.

GPI CONFIGURE MODE Setting determines whether the GPI I/O PIN is a fixed function or can be set.
If it can be set, the GPI INPUT CONFIGURATION (menu 223) and GPI INPUT
CONFIGURATION (menu 224) settings are effective.
: Used as a fixed function.
config : Allows setting.
When set as fixed function, the following functions are assigned.
INPUT FUNCTION Collects and halts GPI input functions.
: GPI input terminals operate.
disable : GPI input terminals do not operate.
OUTPUT FUNCTION Collects and halts GPI output functions.
: GPI output terminals operate.
disable : GPI output terminals do not operate.

RS422 INHIBIT on LOCAL
MODE
When the LOCAL MODE is set with the REMOTE button on the front panel, makes the
settings relative to the 9-pin connectors.
SUB MENU
DISK PROTOCOL Specifies whether DISK PROTOCOL is accepted when the mode is set to LOCAL.
: Accepted in LOCAL MODE.
on : Rejected in LOCAL MODE.
PRESET COMMAND Specifies whether the VTR Protocol 4x: Preset type command from the RS422 is
effective and whether it is possible to switch between REMOTE and LOCAL with the
RS422 when the mode is set to LOCAL.
: Ineffective in LOCAL MODE.
off : Effective in LOCAL MODE.
