Recording a picture
Using the Super NightShot
The Super NightShot function makes subjects up
to 16 times brighter than those recorded in the
NightShot mode.
(1)Set the POWER switch to CAMERA, and slide
NIGHTSHOT to ON. The indicator and
“NIGHTSHOT” flash on the screen.
(2)Press SUPER NS. The indicator and
“SUPER NIGHTSHOT” flash on the screen.
To cancel the Super NightShot function, press
SUPER NS again. Your camcorder returns to
the NightShot mode.
Using the NightShot Light
The picture will be clearer with the NightShot
Light on. To enable NightShot Light, set
N.S.LIGHT to ON in the menu settings.

Using Colour Slow Shutter
The Colour Slow Shutter function enables you to
record colour images in a dark place.
(1)Set the POWER switch to CAMERA, and slide
NIGHTSHOT to OFF.
(2)Press COLOUR SLOW S.
The indicator and COLOUR SLOW
SHUTTER flash on the screen.
To cancel the Colour Slow Shutter function,
press COLOUR SLOW S again.
Notes
•Do not use the NightShot function in bright
places (e.g. outdoors in the daytime). This may
cause your camcorder to malfunction.
•When you keep NIGHTSHOT set to ON in
normal recording, the picture may be recorded
in incorrect or unnatural colours.
•If focusing is difficult with the autofocus mode
when using the NightShot function, focus
manually.

Utilisation de l’éclairage NighShot Light
L’image sera plus claire avec l’éclairage
NightShot Light activé. Pour activer l’éclairage
NightShot Light, réglez N.S.LIGHT sur ON dans
les réglages de menu. (Le réglage par défaut est

Utilisation de Colour Slow Shutter
La fonction Colour Slow Shutter vous permet
d’enregistrer des images en couleur dans un
endroit sombre.
(1)Réglez le commutateur POWER sur
CAMERA et NIGHTSHOT sur OFF.
(2)Appuyez sur COLOUR SLOW S.
L’indicateur et “COLOUR SLOW
SHUTTER” clignotent à l’écran.
Pour désactiver la fonction Colour Slow
Shutter, appuyez de nouveau sur COLOUR
SLOW S.
Remarques
•N’utilisez pas la fonction NightShot dans des
endroits bien éclairés (Par exemple : en
extérieur, le jour). Cela pourrait entraîner un
mauvais fonctionnement de votre caméscope.
•Si vous laissez le réglage NIGHTSHOT sur ON
en cours de prise de vues normale, il est
possible que les couleurs de l’image enregistrée
ne soient pas correctes ou naturelles.
•Si la mise au point est difficile dans le mode
d’autofocus lorsque vous utilisez la fonction
NightShot, effectuez la mise au point
manuellement.
