Using the "Chase mode" menu item, you can select the chase mode to the reference time code.
<Note>:
The "Chase mode" menu item setting is effective only when the optional TC/
SYNC card is installed. When it is not installed, "Void! No TC Card" is shown and you
cannot make setting.

In this mode, once the unit locks to the incoming time code after activating the
chase mode, it stops chasing and runs freely.
The unit rechases the incoming time code if it runs out of sync to the time code.
In this mode, once the unit locks to the incoming reference time code after acti-
vating the chase mode, it stops chasing and runs freely, ignoring the incoming
time code. The unit does not rechase the time code even if it runs out of sync to
the time code (default setting).
Frame Sync
In this mode, after the unit locks to the incoming time code, it continues to check
the incoming time code and control the speed to keep locking to the incoming
time code by using the small amount of varispeed which is inaudible.
The unit rechases the incoming time code if it runs out of sync to the time code.
To make the unit chase to the reference time code, press the [CHASE] key on the
front panel to activate the chase mode.
When activating the chase mode, the [CHASE] indicator starts flashing.
When the unit locks to the reference time code, the [CHASE] indicator is steadily lit.

Options Details
Use the [MENU] dial to select the desired mode, and press the [ENTER/YES] key to confirm
your setting. Press the [STOP/HOME] key to exit the MENU mode.
Select the "Chase mode" menu item and press the [ENTER/YES] key.
The current mode starts flashing and you can now select the option.
