The LIST PLAY function allows linking multiple audio files recorded with the same FS
on the disk and play back them continuously.

<Note>:
"<Silent>" is shown when no file to be played back exists after the current posi-
tion on the LTC stream.
You can link any audio files recorded with same FS on a disk (or in an ALE file). Each
selected file is played back at its original LTC position while LTC runs. If two audio files
overlaps the same LTC range, the file which has earlier LTC start time takes priority and
is played back while the other file is ignored (i.e. not played back).
After the unit finishes playback of the last file, playback continues while "<Silent>" is
shown on the screen.
You can link any audio files recorded with same FS on a disk (or in an ALE file). Selected
files are continuously played back (with no gaps) in order of date/time when each file is
added to the ALE file.
LTC starts from the LTC start time of the first audio file and jams the LTC of subsequent
audio files (therefore, continuous LTC is output).
In the Song link mode, you can also select “Stop Mode” from among List-End, Song,
Repeat and Off (the default is Off). The Stop mode decides how the unit stops link play.
See the next and the following pages for details.
You can link any audio files recorded with same FS on a disk (or in an ALE file). Selected
files are continuously played back (with no gaps) in order of file number in the ALE file.
The unit outputs the original LTC of each audio file, so it is not always continuous.
When the unit finishes playing back the last file, it automatically stops.
This mode is basically the same as the LTC-Link mode, except that the LTC starts run-
ning from "12h00m00s00f", crosses "24h00m00s00f" and ends at one frame earlier than
"12h00m00s00f" of the next day.
Therefore, an audio file which starts from between "00h00m00s00f" and "12h00m00s00f"
is linked after "24h00m00s00f".
<Note>:
To execute list play by linking audio file entries in an ALE file, you must add the
desired audio files to the ALE file created using the "EDIT EDL FILE" menu item.
See page 99 for details about the "EDIT EDL FILE" menu item.
There are four "link modes" for playing back linked audio files continuously, as be-
low.
