Setting list play mode/Executing list play
Before executing list play, you must set the maximum number of tracks of a file which
can be linked and the link mode appropriately.
1) While the unit is stopped, press the [LIST PLAY/
EDIT EDL
] key.
The display now shows the screen for selecting a play list.
If no ALE file exists on the disk, only "<All Link>" is shown (highlighted) in the list
as below. If "<All Link>" is selected, all files with the same FS as the "Record FS/
Bit" setting can be linked.
<Note>:
Before making setting for list play, select the FS of audio files to be linked via the
quick setup mode or the "Record FS/Bit" menu item in the "SYS SETUP" menu of the MENU
mode.
<Note>:
If ALE files containing audio file entries
exists on the disk, the ALE file names are also
listed as shown right.
To link audio file entries in an ALE file, use the
[MENU] dial to select the desired ALE file name
and press the [ENTER/YES] key.
2) While "<All Link>" is highlighted, press the [ENTER/YES] key.
The display now shows the screen for setting "Link Track (max)" and the "Link
Mode". By default, "Link Track (max)" is set to the current "Record tracks" setting,
while "Link Mode" is set to "LTC-Link".
3) Select the desired link track and link mode.
• "Link Track (max)" setting
This item set the maximum number of tracks of a file which can be linked.
By using the [MENU] dial to select "Link Track (max)" and pressing the [ENTER/
YES] key, the current setting starts flashing and you can now select the desired
maximum number of tracks from among "1trk", "2trk", "4trk", "5trk", "6trk" and
"8trk".
The selected maximum number of tracks is reflected to the "
TRACK
" field in the
status information area on the Home screen.
<Note>:
If "<All Link>" is selected, the unit automatically creates the ALE file
which includes all available files on the disk.
