Set a user ID and password to restrict operation of the digital
video recorder directly or through the network.
User levels and privileges
Select from the following four user levels.
*1 Masked video cannot be monitored.
*2 However, the maximum number may not be possible
depending on the NET conditions and the number of
screens displayed.
Use the following procedure to set the user ID, password and
level.
The user ID must be between one and eight alphanumeric
characters, and the password between four and eight
alphanumeric characters.
Characters that can be entered: 0 to 9, A to Z
1 Click the button on the operation
panel.
The “MAIN MENU” is displayed.
2 Click “3. GENERAL SET”.
The “GENERAL SET” screen is displayed.
3 Click “4. USER ID SET”.
The “USER ID SET” screen is displayed.
4 Set user ID for “USER ID”.
5 Set “PASSWORD”.
6 Set user level for “LV”.
[Settings]
7 Click [SAVE].
The setting is saved.
z The “LV” setting registered on line 1 cannot be changed
from “4”. To change the level, register a separate user on a
different line.
