MISCELLANEOUS COMMANDS DESCRIPTIONS
The table below lists all DGy 201 miscellaneous commands, their
arguments and detailed descriptions.

Command Arguments Description
Help [<command>] Help, without an argument will display the entire
serial command set. Help, with a command as an
argument will display detailed information about
that command.
ID (none) Displays the following DGy information:
• Product type
• Date of manufacture
• Serial number
• Firmware version number
• Input Type
VERsion (none) Displays the following DGy information:
• Firmware version
• FPGA version number,
• Web Interface (WCP) version number.
BAUDrate <9600 | 19200 |

115200>
Sets the serial port baud rate. It is recommended
that you operate the serial port at the highest
possible speed.
Factory default: 115,200
ECHO <ON | OFF> Turns the serial echo On/Off. The echo is only on
commands typed and sent to the unit.
Note: Echo setting has no effect on responses
issued by the DGy; responses are always visible,
regardless of the echo status.
Factory default: ON
HANDShaking <HardWare |
SoftWare>
Sets the type of flow control on the serial port.
The HardWare handshaking uses CTS/RTS
control.
The SoftWare handshaking protocol is XON-XOFF.
Factory default: SoftWare
HOSTNAME <hostname> Sets Ethernet hostname.
Factory default: DGy
IPADDRess [ddd.ddd.ddd.ddd] Sets or reports the system IP address.
To determine the current IP address without
changing it, use the IPADDR command without an
argument.
Use theSYStemReSet command to reboot the unit
to activate the new IP address.
Factory default 192.168.1.200
