COMMAND LOG
The WCP Terminal window can also be used to log commands that are
sent from the WCP to the DGy 201. This is particularly useful for
debugging or in the development of a script for an external controllers
using the command line interface (see
“Command Line Interface” on
page 86 for details about each command).
Figure 3-25. Terminal Window configured for logging
To turn on the Command Logging capability use the following procedure:
• If the Terminal Window is not open then follow the steps on
“Opening a Terminal Window” on
page 61
• On the Terminal Window page check the Enable command
log check box
Important Only use the command log as a guide to controlling
the DGy 201 from the command set. The WCP
application uses some special functions that not
supported in the DGy 201 command set, and also
may execute command sequences that are much
more involved than your application demands. Use
the log as a starting point and be ready to simplify the
result.
