Additional Information
Trouble with the timer program and the timer macro setting
Symptom
The timer you have set cannot be
correctly executed.
The component set to be operated
by the timer of the Remote
Commander does not function as
expected.
The timer program is executed the
following week even though that
program has already been executed.
Remedy
• The macro programmed for the Timer program
key may be incorrectly set. Check the macro
procedure by selecting the [TEST] tag in the
Program Edit display (page 141).
• The set time may be incorrect. Check the day of
the week and the time you have set (page 132).
• The setting time may be the same as the time
set to another Timer program key. If you want
to execute the timer correctly, set again so that
the setting time is not the same as the time set
to another Timer program key.
• The distance between the Remote Commander
and the component to be operated may be too
far. Use the Remote Commander within about
10 meters (32.8 feet) of the component to be
operated.
• The component could not receive the signal
from the Remote Commander successfully.
When using the timer, check the following.
Check that the timer macro program
functions correctly by using the [TEST] tag,
after programming the timer (page 141).
Check the location of the Remote
Commander.
• The current status of the component does not
allow the desired operation to be carried out.
(For example, if you programmed the power-
on setting, and the power of the component is
already on when the component receives the
remote control signal from the Remote
Commander, the component will turn off.)
• The timer program contents you set on the
Remote Commander repeat every week
(weekly timer). If you want to execute the timer
program once, set the timer execution mode to
OFF after the execution of the timer program
(page 142).
