To display a warning message
Set the VTR SETUP menu item 626 “DISPLAY
INFORMATION select” to any setting other than
“time data only” and set the menu item 627 “CHAR
WARNING DISPLAY at dual line mode” to “on”.
The first 16 characters of the warning message flashes
on the second line.
For details about the warning messages, see “Warning
Messages” on page A-6.
When there are multiple warning messages, each
message flashes twice before it is replaced by the next
message. When there is no warning message, the
setting of the VTR SETUP menu item 626 “DISPLAY
INFORMATION select” flashes on the second line
instead.
To display remaining time on the tape
Use the VTR SETUP menu item 628 “REMAIN
TIME DISPLAY” to display remaining time on the
tape.
off: Do not display remaining time.
10min: Display remaining time when it is 10
minutes or less.
on: Always display remaining time.
