This procedure analyzes the results of the diag-
nostics or an FRU exchange and explains what
must be done afterwards.
When MOSS diagnostics detect an error, a hex
code is set on the control panel. The code can be
decoded by using “3745 Control Panel Codes” on
page 1-15.
When ODG/CDG diagnostics detect an error, a
reference code is given on the diagnostic screen.
See Figure 3-7 on page 3-12.
From Menu 3, select the BRC function. Enter the
reference code. The action to be taken is dis-
played. See “Using Reference Codes” on
page 1-14.
Did diagnostics initialization completed and
the diagnostics start to run?

to Run MOSS Diagnostics” on page 3-4.

Did the diagnostics run without a message for
manual intervention?

Follow the instructions given by the diagnos-
tics. Go back to this procedure according to
the result.

FRUs were exchanged?
