If both the IN point and OUT point are set on the player and recorder, then
when you execute the edit, the specified section on the recorder simply
replaces the specified section on the player.

As in conventional linear editing, the OUT point is not included in the editing
interval. Therefore, the above replacement operation to include up to the last
frame of the file is not possible.
To preform operations that included the last frame, use the ten-keys of the
MAVE-D555 to specify the end point of the file plus one frame as the OUT
point.
When the lengths of the sections specified on the player and recorder are
different, the total length on the recorder changes as a result of the editing.
However, if only the IN point on the player is set, the operation is the same as
in OVERWRITE mode described below, and the total length on the recorder
does not change.
