Handling of exceptional cases
If the recorder OUT point calculated automatically from the player IN and
OUT points and the recorder IN point is outside the outside the range of the
file on the recorder, the length of the file on the recorder as the editing result is
increased as shown in the figure below.

Notes
• As in conventional linear editing, the OUT point is not included in the editing
interval. Therefore, it is not possible to specify up to the last frame of the
recorder file to be overwritten. To overwrite up to and including the last
frame of the recorder file, leave the recorder OUT point unset, as above, and
carry out the overwriting with only the player OUT point set.
You can also use this function with a BLACK/MUTING loaded on the player
to delete up to and including the last frame of the recorder file.
• To overwrite everything up through the last frame, use the ten-keys of the
MAVE-D555 to specify the end point of the file plus one frame as the OUT
point.
