5 DATA USED FOR POSITIONING CONTROL
Even when the remote station READY signal [RX(n+7)B] is ON, the values or contents of the
following can be changed: basic parameters 2
*1
, detailed parameters 2
*2
, positioning data and
positioning start information.
The changed values are reflected at the time of positioning start or JOG operation start.
To make sure that the changes are reflected, change the set values before positioning start or JOG
operation start.
While multiple positioning data is handled under continuous positioning control or continuous path
control, changing the basic parameters 2, detailed parameters 2, positioning data, or positioning
start information results in the changes being reflected in order from up to the fourth data down from
the positioning data being processed.
*1: As Remote station READY signal [RX(n+7)B] turns on from off, the following parameters
become active:
• Basic parameters 2: "Pr.11 Stepping motor mode selection"
• Detailed parameters 2: "Pr.44 Near pass mode selection for path control"
The data is monitored with the sequence program or peripheral device. In this chapter, the method
using the peripheral device will be explained.
Control using the control data is carried out with the sequence program.
POINT
(1) The "setting data" is created for each axis.
(2) The "setting data" parameters have determined default values, and are set to
the default values before shipment from the factory. (Parameters related to
axes that are not used are left at the default value.)
