12.5.4 Torque change function
The "torque change function" is used to change the torque limit value during torque
limiting.
The torque limit value during torque limiting is normally the value set in the "
Pr.18
Torque limit setting value" that was previously set in the parameters. However, by
setting the new torque limit value in the positioning data "
Cd.30 New torque value",
and writing it to the D75P2, the torque generated by the servomotor during control can
be limited with the new torque value.
(The "
Cd.30 New torque value" is validated when written to the D75P2.)
The details shown below explain about the "control torque change function".
(1) Control details
(2) Precautions during control
(3) Setting the torque change function start signal
(1) Control details
The new torque value in the axis control data can always be changed, and torque
limit is carried out with the new value as soon as the new torque value is written.
(A torque change is made during operation only.)
A torque change is not performed from when power is switched ON until the
remote station READY signal [RX(n+7)B] turns ON.
The setting range is 0 to "
Pr.18 Torque limit setting value".
When the new torque value is 0, it is regarded that no torque change will be
made.
1 to "
Pr.18 Torque limit setting value" is the range where a torque change can
be made.
