(2) Precautions during control
(a) Data can only be written to the flash ROM when the remote station READY
signal [RX(n+7)B] is OFF.
(b) Writing to the flash ROM can be executed up to 100,000 times.
(Writing to the flash ROM will become impossible after 100,000 times.)
(c) During execution of a flash ROM write request, a transient transmission
request such as the dedicated command (RIRD, RIWT) cannot be accepted.
A "response error" (error code: B404) will occur on the master station side if
a transient transmission request is executed during execution of a flash
ROM write request.
If there is a possibility that a transient transmission request may be executed
during execution of a flash ROM write request, create a sequence program
so that a transient transmission request will be executed again at occurrence
of a response error.
(The processing time necessary for normal completion of flash ROM write is
a maximum of 35s. Use this as a guideline for setting the retry count and
response monitoring time.)
Important
Do not turn the power ON/OFF; reset, etc., during writing to the flash ROM. The
flash ROM data may be corrupted.
(3) Backing up the execution data
To use the "execution data backup function", set the data shown in the following
table, and write it to the D75P2 using the sequence program.
The writing to the flash ROM is carried out when the data is written to the D75P2.
